Famous Buffalo Chicken Wing Place Teases New Location Opening

It's that time of the year that comfort food is craved by Buffalonians. From the south towns to the north towns, chicken wings, beef on weck and French onion soup is what people want right now. The cold weather is here to stay for the next several months.

When you think of the best places for chicken wings in Western New York, you immediately consider places like Bar-Bill Tavern, Elmos, Duff's and Nine-Eleven Tavern.

One of the newest great places for wings in Buffalo is Wingnutz.

For the last few years, Wingnutz has gotten more and more popular. They started out as a kitchen in the Knights of Columbus on Kenmore Avenue. Then they got the endorsement of Pardon My Take, which is a nationally beloved podcast from Barstool Sports.

Wingnutz opened up a location at Froth Brewing Company in Buffalo two or three years ago, then a takeout location on Niagara Falls Blvd. in Amherst. Now, they are about to open their brand new location at a very well-known spot.

Wingnutz posted on Facebook and Instagram that they are about to open their new location on Millersport Highway in Amherst. It's the former Santora's Pizza Pub & Grill location, which was Santora's Phase II before that.

UPDATE:

Wingnutz announced they will have their grand opening on December 15th!

The new location will offer Wingnutz their biggest space yet, with a full bar and a private room nicknamed "Room 40," which was a joke made famous by Bills quarterback Josh Allen to Pardon My Take.

Can't imagine how packed it will be...
