More Winter Weather On The Way For New York State
Spring is typically a month of fluctuating weather. This year has been no different, but winter seems to have even more of a grip on the northeast than usual.
Thursday saw temperatures in the 60's across New York State, and while there were rain showers and high winds, it felt good compared to last weekend and into Monday.
While we won't get that cold this weekend, get ready for more winter weather for New York State. this weekend.
The region will have to deal with snow and mixed precipitation and according to AccuWeathernew york stat, this system will bring potentially tricky travel conditions to New York State.
Temperatures across New York State will struggle to get out of the 30's on Friday, with more snow accumulations near Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
Western New York is expected to get at least and inch or two out of the system.
Snow is expected to fall in Upstate New York and Central New York, not should not be as bad as last weekend.
The good news is next week looks mostly okay. 40's and 50's will be around for the first week of April, before we get a bit cooler again for next weekend.
It feels like this winter weather has lasted for an eternity this year. I can't remember a January and February that was so cold and snowy. March offered some decent weather days, but lots of cold temps as well.
Here's to hoping we get rewarded with a great summer after the harsh winter. 80 degrees and sunshine sounds amazing right about now.
