The Buffalo Sabres are going to be hosting the Montreal Canadians on Friday night at Key Bank Center and there is a special guest that will be in the house.

Wyatt Russell the actor who stars in a few of the Marvel movies (and his parents are Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn) will be in town to celebrate the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night. After all--maybe he is the good luck charm because the only home game in the playoffs that the Sabres have one has been the game that he was at.

Russell was here for the first playoff game and there was a lot of hype surrounding him, including him being featured on the jumbotron ahead of the game during the intro.

He is the owner of the new beverage called LAKE HOUR and in the beginning of the season, he put it out there that if his team, the Buffalo Sabres makes the playoffs, he would jump in Lake Erie and chug a LAKE HOUR drink. It somehow took off and it went viral and he was seen drinking and having fun with fans before the first playoff game.

Now, on Friday night, he will be at the Hofbrauhaus Buffalo on Friday starting at 5:30 PM. He will be here for the ceremonial 'can crack' and pep rally that is happening at the Hofbrauhaus.

Who is banging the drum at the Buffalo Sabres game tonight?

Josh Allen, Joe Brady, Chad Michael Murray, William Fichter and have been in the house as guests and to bang the drum, which has turned into a really popular tradition ahead of Buffalo Sabres games. The team never announces who is actually coming to bang the drum ahead of time (usually). The only time that the team announced who was coming ahead of the game was the blade gang and that is probably because when you have so many people in the gang--there's like 15 of them--the secret might just be harder to keep LOL.
