New Bills Player Xavier Rhodes Already On The Injured List
The Bills have really been hit hard by the injury truck. They just signed a new player to help get them through...and he's injured too.
The last couple years, it feels as though the Bills have really dodged bullets so to speak when it comes to the injury list. There have been a couple nagging injuries but nothing like they're seeing this year.
They have already ruled three players out for Sunday's game including Jordan Phillips, Christian Benford, and Jake Kumerow. Phillips suffered a hamstring injury during the Monday night game against the Titans. Benford and Kumerow were both hurt last week against the Dolphins. Benford broke his hand. Kumerow is dealing with an ankle injury.
That doesn't include the ones that are on the bubble of possibly sitting out on Sunday. That list includes:
- Ryan Bates (Concussion)
- Gabriel Davis (foot)
- Jordan Poyer (foot)
- Dane Jackson (Neck)
- Dawson Knox (Back)
- Mitch Morse (Elbow)
- Cam Lewis (Forearm/Knee)
- Ed Oliver (Ankle)
- Justin Murray (Foot)
There were others who sat out this week for veteran rest.
You may notice Justin Murray is on that list. He's a new signing..like this week. They just got him. And today we see that the newest member of the team Xavier Rhodes who they just signed 2 days ago is on the list too!
It makes you wonder what the heck is happening there. They must have had to pass physicals in order to get signed, right? They wouldn't have signed injured players to replace injured players. So how are they all getting hurt?
