You Can Do More With Coke Than Drink It — Here Are 7 Other Uses!

If your dog, or even you tangle with a skunk – Coke is better than tomato sauce for getting rid of the smell. And it’s less messy. Put the dog in the shower, pour Coke over him, scrub him down and rinse and repeat.

Another smelly problem – stinky clothes. How about the fisherman in your family who comes home with fishy-smelling clothes? Soak it in a bucket of Coke and water. The Coke will lift the stink out.

Dirty car battery? Coke will dissolve all that battery corrosion. Rinse it off and wipe it down.

An old remedy for cleaning a dirty toilet is to pour Coke into it and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. It’ll lift some of the toughest stains.

This comes in handy in this part of the country during the winter. Frozen windshield caked with ice? Pour coke over it. It’ll dissolve the ice in just a few minutes. Easier than scraping.

I’m not ready to try this one – my hair’s not long enough. But if you want curly hair – open up a can of Coke the night before, then in the morning pour it over your head, massage it in, let it set for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly. You’ll have curly hair. Anybody willing to try it, let me know how it goes.

And one of the famous unusual uses of Coke is a way to kill slugs and snails in your garden. Sink a pie pan just below the surface of the garden and pour Coke in it. The slugs and snails will be attracted to the sugar in the Coke and the acid will kill them.
