Bills Fans Wishing Sean McDermott Would Do This After Wins
The Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals will play one another in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs this Sunday at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park. Kickoff is at 3 pm.
Both the Bills and Bengals were heavy favorites in their Wild Card round matchups, but both were one-score games. Buffalo had all they could handle with the Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati had all they could handle against the Baltimore Ravens; both the Ravens and Dolphins had backup quarterbacks.
Still, a win is a win and this game will finally matchup up two teams with high-scoring offenses and elite quarterbacks.
Some Bills fans would love it if head coach Sean McDermott did what Bengald head coach Zac Taylor did after wins.
After Bengals playoff wins at Paycor Stadium, Taylor visits bars in the Cincinnati area and delivers game balls to fans. Yes, he really does this.
This was last night.
I highly doubt McDermott would ever do this. He's a very business-minded head coach, who doesn't overreact one way or the other. Still, this is really cool for Bengals fans.
The Bills and Bengals were supposed to play a Monday Night Football game in Cincinnati back on January 2nd but due to the cardiac arrest of Bills' safety Damar Hamlin, that game was postponed and eventually cancelled. Both teams have played one less regular season game than the other 32 teams.
The Bills will face their toughest challenge since their October game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bengals may not have as intimidating a front seven on defense as the Dolphins but they do have elite weapons on offense, which they need to stop to advance to the AFC Championship game.
