This week, you may have a check for over $1,800 coming to the mailbox.

The Social Security Retirement benefit is a monthly check that comes in when you stop working at you hit a certain age. The older you are when you retire, the more your benefits are--but, you have to sign up and make sure that you have been applied and accepted. On November 18, another wave of checks have been sent out.

Some payments were already sent out. Here is the schedule for November payments.

  • 1st: SSI beneficiary
  • 3rd: Beneficiaries who began receiving their payments before May 1997
  • 8th: Beneficiaries with a date of birth from the 1st to the 10th
  • 15th: Beneficiaries with a date of birth from the 11th to the 20th
  • 22nd: Beneficiaries with a date of birth from the 21st to the 31st
