An Extra Day of Summer Vacation for Orchard Park Schools

The popularity of the U2 concert that is coming to Orchard Park will not only affect traffic in the area for the day but it will also affect the opening day of schools in September.

The school system in Orchard Park would ordinarily open the first day after the Labor Day Monday. However, the show is slated for that day (Tuesday September 5th) and as a result, the first day of school will be Wednesday September 6th.
