Like to drive really fast? You're in luck. Nope, it's not a drag strip or race track. A new speed limit has been unveiled on a road that will allow drivers to cruise along at record speeds.A stretch of road in San Antonio, Texas will be opening after a few years of construction and will feature a speed limit of 85 mph!!!

According to Yahoo News....

The final 41-mile stretch of Texas Highway 130 will open Wednesday after three years of construction. The speed limit will be 85 mph.

Sometimes when I drive on the roads in Western New York I wonder why the sped limit isn't higher than 65. The stretch of the 219 from Rice Road south to Springville or the 90 heading east past Exit 49 heading toward Pembroke.   Drivers in those sections seem to decide speed limits on their own!
