Miranda Lambert Lashes Out At Reporter Who Criticized Her Stance On Guns

About two years ago I had the pleasure of interviewing Miranda Lambert. The first part of the interview we talked about her music and the second part we pretty much talked about deer hunting and guns. Miranda is a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment and believes that all homes should have at least two firearms, if not three.

Miranda recently lashed out on Twitter against a Canadian reporter who criticized her for her pro-gun stance. In her tweet, Miranda addressed the reporter, saying, “Dear mr writer at Ottawa citizen: next time u interview me, let’s keep it about the music and not about your view on my stance on guns…”

In a follow-up tweet, Miranda said, “I don’t talk politics period. I’m Not sure all Canadians would like to Be put in your category. Speak for yourself not your country. Thx!”

She then said that she is excited to see her Ottawa fans. The star is set to perform in the city on Aug. 11.

In a February interview with Ladies Home Journal, Miranda said she carries a Colt .45 revolver on her bus, which she uses for hunting.

I just love the way this girl thinks! My wife and kids and I feel the same way as Miranda. We love our firearms and we know how to use them.
