Baby Boy Hearing Sounds For The First Time – Precious [VIDEO]

Many people are surprised to find out I was born to deaf parents.  I was 11 years old when I decided I wanted a career in radio.  And even though my parents couldn't relate to it, they always supported me and the closest they ever came to experiencing my voice on the radio was to feel the vibrations from the speaker.

I often asked my parents if they could undergo a procedure that would allow them to hear, would they do it?  My father said he'd give it a try, but I specifically remember my mother saying she wouldn't want it because she'd be afraid it would be too noisy.

For the deaf, I always wondered what the experience of hearing sounds for the first time would be like.  I can't help but get emotional when I see this video of a baby hearing his parents' voices for the first time after receiving hearing aids.  It's absolutely precious and I would give anything to see my parents' faces if they were able to hear for the first time.
