Buffalo Children’s Museum Gets Final OK

The long-discussed, long-planned Buffalo Explore and More Children's Museum at Canalside will soon become reality.  Final plans call for a new four-story building that will be constructed to look like an old building, renovated over the years.

Groundbreaking for the new museum at Lloyd Street and Marine Drive next to the Buffalo Naval and Servicemen's Park will take place next month.  Construction of the $27-million project is expected to be completed by June, 2018 with the museum  exhibits ready by the end of 2018.

In addition to the exhibits the museum will offer scenic views of the Buffalo River and Canalside.
