A story in the Buffalo News this morning caught my eye.   Buffalo Native Peter Shanley, who’s wedding was featured in ‘Martha Stewart’s ‘Real Weddings’, landed him and his bride on the cover.

It was nice to see a Buffalo native get national attention but according to the 'news'  the story made no real mention of the unique “Buffalo” influences that were part of it. No mention of the Buffalo Wings that were shipped from the Anchor Bar? Or the Bison Dip that guests brought with them? I’m sure the couple were honored to be a part of the issue, but as a Buffalo resident I feel the unique thing about this wedding were the Buffalo hometown contributions. The article claims that they will showcase favorite moments and ideas from real weddings, with a lot of brand-new ways to plan an event. So how could they leave out the wings and dip?
