Michael Neuvirth nearly single-handedly beat the Nashville Predators [Getty Images][/caption]It was a game between the best and the worst team in the National Hockey League and the result should be a no-brainer.  The better team did win, but it wasn't easy.  The Buffalo Sabres were four minutes away from beating the Nashville Predators in regulation until another Buffalo penalty put the Predators on the power play and they scored to tie it to force overtime and a shoot out.  That's where the Predators won it 2-1.

Way too many Buffalo penalties gave Nashville seven power play opportunities and when you give a good team that many chance it'll eventually cost you.  And it did to spoil a terrific game by Sabres goaltender Michael Neuvirth.  Neuvirth stopped 37 of 38 shots and was easily the Sabres best player of the game.

Tyler Ennis scored the Buffalo goal in regulation and was the only player to score in the shoot out.
