[nhl.com][/caption]The Buffalo Sabres put in a good effort in Toronto Wednesday night and were 3 and a half minutes away from a victory when a penalty put the Maple Leafs on the power play, the Leafs tied it, then won in a shoot out.

A great night for the forward line of Tyler Ennis, Matt Moulson and Johan Larsson.  Each of them had a goal and two assists to account for all of the Buffalo scoring.

The Sabres finished with 33 shots on goal, but failed to score in the shoot out while Toronto scored on its first attempt and that was enough to win it.

Sabres goaltender Anders Lindback stopped 31 shots.

The Sabres are home to the New York Rangers on Saturday night.
