The Buffalo Sabres put in another good effort and this time it resulted in a win.  For the second straight game the Sabres went to a shoot out to decide it, but this time it was Buffalo that came out on top 3-2.  Brian Gionta and Brian Flynn scored in the shoot out for the victory.

Nicolas Deslauriers and Gionta had the Buffalo goals in regulation.  Gionta's goal was the 500th point of his career.

Another good game from goaltender Michael Neuvirth stopping 36 of 38 shots including some big ones while the Flyers were on the power play.

The Sabres are back at it again Friday night against the New York Rangers in the make-up for a game that was postponed by the November storm in Buffalo.
