Christmas Comes Way Too Soon

Spring, summer, fall, winter. Everyone has their favorite season. For my friend, it is the fall. So imagine her surprise and disappointment when she was visiting a local retailer only to come upon the presence of the majestic Christmas tree and holiday displays A WEEK BEFORE HALLOWEEN!

Yes, I said Christmas tree, NOT Holiday tree or Festive bush or Symbolic shrubbery! Her question: What happened to Halloween or even Thanksgiving? Statistically, more people are now decorating for Halloween then in the past. And Thanksgiving is treated like Jan from the Brady Bunch.

It’s October. Why am I now forced to stress out two months before Christmas? How about handing out candy canes on Halloween? What do you think? Does Christmas come too soon?
