‘Columbo’ Star Peter Falk Dead At 83

He was best known for his role as Lt. Columbo on the TV show Columbo and today Peter Falk is dead at 83 years old.

 He is survived by his wife Shera Danese and his two adopted daughters. 

He was best known for his role on Columbo but was no stranger to the stage and big screen as well.  He was nominated for 2 Academy awards for movies in 1960 and 1961.

His Broadway career was started in 1956  'Diary of a Scoundrel.'

AOL is reporting that Peter Falk who had Alzheimers Disease late in his life could not recall his most famous role of Lt. Columbo.
