Chris is being inducted in to the SRU Radio/TV radio hall of fame tonight Friday, October, 21st.  The hall of fame class includes a number of deserving professionals either retired or remaining professionals in the radio/Television industry

Christopher “David” Krupinski, is one of the 2016 inductees who can play music live as well as on the radio.  Since 1994, Chris has had 1500 show playing everywhere from New York City to Pittsburgh, and even in Nashville with his touring band.  Chris and his band have opened for dozens of national acts from Miranda Lambert to 38 Special to Toby Keith to the Outlaws.  They have even played with acts such as Bret Michaels and Sara Evans.

The Radio Hall of Fame eligibility is based on former students or faculty who worked at, or with, SRU’s radio station, and has established a successful career in radio, television, or newspaper.  Eligibility also included communication-based educational positions.  Nominations were held in March 2016, and after a three month voting process, 11 of the University’s finest and most successful alumni and professors were voted into the Hall of Fame.  In addition, two special awards, Lifetime Achievement Award and Legends Award were also awarded.
