Next week will be the first Total Solar Eclipse since the '70s!

In Buffalo, you'll be able to see it just around 2:30, but make sure you have some glasses, too! Luckily in Buffalo they are free at the Libraries. To make it a sweet experience there will be viewing glasses that will be given out so, you can watch without hurting your eyes. The total solar eclipse will be on Monday, August 21 and you can pick up your glasses at any of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Libraries.

Here is an hour by hour forecast for Monday from our weather friends at WGRZ:

  • 1pm: Mostly sunny, 76 degrees F.
  • 2pm: Sunshine, 78.
  • 3pm: Sunny skies, 80.
  • 4pm: Sunshine and 81 degrees F.
