Bars closing at 2 a.m. in Buffalo doesn't just seem right or does it? The proposed 2 a.m. change from a 4 a.m. last call from Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs is being debated.

Is it a good idea? It would surely cut down on the amount of time that people drink, and hopefully turn down some drinking and driving and mean fights.

Will people like it though? Probably not, considering they don't leave until 4 a.m. sometimes. There are times when people don't even leave to go out until 1 a.m. Will bartenders like getting less tips?

What do you think?

According to Time Warner Cable, Chris Jacobs said:

When the bars close in outlying counties, because we're open so much later. It draws those who have already been drinking into our county to drink more for a couple more hours, and then they drive back home even that much more intoxicated."
