You Need To Know About This New Store In The Walden Galleria

A brand new store inside the Walden Galleria is the latest addition to the mall to spend your hard-earned paycheck.

One of the largest malls in New York State, the Walden Galleria in Cheektowaga already has almost everything you could want in terms of places to spend your money. Inside, you’ll find big name-brand stores like Macy’s and Old Navy, along with some local businesses like the BFLO Store.

Buffalo’s biggest mall has added a lot of pretty cool stuff lately, like the massive, 34,000 square foot Primark store this past April and the discount retailer Five Below last spring.

Now, we can check out the newest location of a brand we might not have heard of before, but word will probably spread fast.

New Clothing & Accessories Store Open At The Walden Galleria

Western New York shoppers can officially browse the Galleria’s newest addition, Dry Goods. The store is currently open for browsing and shopping on the lower level, near the Apple store.

What Is Dry Goods?

A subsidiary of the Von Maur department store, Dry Goods sells fashion-forward women's tops, bottoms, dresses, and accessories at an arguably much lower price point than its parent company. Prices on their site range from $5 for a graphic tee to $120 for a sparkly pair of cowboy boots. 

Unfortunately, the brand only sells plus sizes on their website and at a few select locations, and the Galleria isn’t one of them (but we hope that they expand their size offerings soon). 

The new Buffalo-area store is one of two in New York State, with the other location in Eastview Mall in Victor. A third store will also be opening soon inside Destiny USA in Syracuse. 

Melody Wright, the COO of Von Maur, says: 

“We are excited by the success of Dry Goods as we continue to expand our footprint and introduce the brand to new fashion-forward shoppers seeking the latest on-trend clothing and accessories.”

This Saturday, July 15th, they’ll be hosting an official grand opening inside the new Walden Galleria store, offering customers a free tote bag with a $50 purchase.
