Use your lunch hour to come out and support local foster children and their foster families. Enjoy a Chiavetta’s chicken BBQ on Thursday, June 30th from 11 am to 3 pm. $10 for a complete chicken dinner with potato salad, coleslaw, and roll or $7 for just chicken and a roll. Beverages and bake sale items also available. KidsPeace Foster Care Agency is at the corner of Wehrle and Harris Hill near Transit. KidsPeace programs help 40 children in need of temporary homes while their families take the steps they need to so they can be reunited.
