Technically summer is rolling to a stop soon in Western New York.  But there are still tons of summer activities you can check out.

Looking for something cool to do to soak up the last couple days of summer in Western New York?  Griffis Sculpture Park has always been a favorite "off-the-beaten-path" location for people to visit and soon they're going to amp it up even more.

What is Griffis Sculpture Park?

Griffis Sculpture Park is exactly what it sounds like.  It's a park that is covered with sculptures that are scattered all over the place.  There are over 250 available to check out on their many hiking trails and fields.

The park is split into two separate locations and they're located at:

Mill Valley Road Section: 6902 Mill Valley Road,  East Otto, NY 14729

Rohr Hill Road Section: Rohr Hill Road, Ashford Hollow, NY 14171

Griffis Park is bringing back "Night Lights"

While most people visit the park during the day, this event is best observed at night.  It's produced by a company called SitlerHQ and they illuminate all the sculptures and some of the landscapes around the park with bright LED colors to give you a completely different experience.

This will be their 11th season lighting up the park in East Otto.

When will Night Lights be back?

Opening night for the "Night Lights" exhibit will be on September 8th.  They will be open from Thursday to Saturday nights through October 14th and they will be featuring a special Sunday opening on Indigenous People Weekend!

How much does it cost to check out Night Lights at Griffis Sculpture Park?

The normal admission rate for the park is a $5 donation per adult, $3 for children 12 to 5 years old and seniors. It doesn't appear as if there is an additional cost for the Night Lights exhibit, but I would call them ahead of time just to be sure before you go.
