A gunman shot and injured six people during a rampage at a mall in Houston on Monday morning.

The suspect was shot and killed by police. It's believed he fired shots from an apartment complex toward the mall.

According to Fox:

A fire official said some people were shot while inside their cars and the conditions of those wounded was varied. Several people were hit with glass fragments from shattering car windows.

'We have several with extremity injuries,' an official told reporters. 'We have a couple that are more serious.'

This is the latest wave of mall violence in the U.S. in just over a week. Earlier this month, a man stabbed multiple people in Minnesota before he was killed and just this past weekend five people were shot to death in Washington.
