Huge Ferris Wheel Planned in Vegas

Can you imagine a Ferris wheel taller than the HSBC tower in downtown Buffalo?  It's the tallest building in the city, but a Ferris wheel taller than that?  A developer in Vegas has unveiled plans for a version of the popular London Eye Ferris wheel.  The one in Vegas would be 500-feet tall surrounded by retail and entertainment space on the south end of the Strip across from Mandalay Bay.  It's a 175-million dollar project but the financing isn't in place yet. 

That won't be the only big Ferris wheel in Vegas.  Caesars Entertainment recently obtained a loan for its own giant Ferris wheel near the Flamingo hotel.  It still needs county approval.
