JUST IN: College Lock Downs In New York State?

The tensions are still very high among demonstrators and school officials on campuses across the United States. Dozens were arrested at colleges this past weekend and there are some who are saying lock downs may happen at some schools in New York State.

The war in the Middle East is still ongoing and protesters are showing support for both sides. As we wait to see what happens next, the demonstrations have gotten bigger, and in some cases, more violent.

Colleges and universities are being put in a tough position and may need to step up the efforts to remove the protesters from their property.

NBC News is reporting that, “Dialogue between university officials and student organizers is ongoing. We want to be clear: There is no truth to claims of an impending lockdown or evictions on campus,” the Columbia administration's statement said.
