According to  The New York Post , Kenny Chesney is trying to get out of his contract with Sony based BNA records.  The source says that he's looking for a 5 CD deal with EMI, Universal, and Warner.

Kenny Chesney's management denies any such deal and says that anything of the sort is simply rumor.

“This is very inaccurate. We have no plans to be anything but a country-music artist . . . Also, we have enjoyed a long-term, successful relationship with Sony . . . The numbers you speak about and Warner Bros., etc. are purely rumors that are far from the truth.”
