Kevin Sharp, best known for the #1 song "Nobody Knows", has died at 43 of complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues.

Diagnosed with bone cancer in his senior of year of high school, he was introduced to producer David Foster through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This led to a recording session and later a record deal. Months later, doctors told him he was cancer-free.

His debut single, "Nobody Knows", spent 4 weeks at the top of the charts. This was followed by the top 5 hits "She's Sure Taking It Well" and "If You Love Somebody". He released 2 other albums and also did much work with Make-A-Wish and as a motivational speaker. He also dealt with several surgeries in recent years. While his life was cut short, he certainly inspired people through his music and perseverance.
