Country music collides with pop, rock and rap at the American Music Awards Sunday night.  I remember watching this show when I was a kid and remember all those years with Lionel Ritchey as the show host and the year of the word “outrageous”.  Back then the country music categories were only announced going in to commercial breaks, but now stars like Lady Antebellum, Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban are front and center.

In fact, Lady Antebellum tied Eminem for the most nominees for this Sunday's show, with five nods apiece. Believe it or not, Lady A's Hilary Scott is actually a big Eminem fan. She remembers seeing his video on MTV when he first came out and admires him for his honest lyrics. "To think that we're in the running for the most nominations with him is really bizarre," she says. "I'm a huge fan. He's very amazing."
