If you've seen some of the videos of the Tsunami damage in Japan, then you understand how so many people quickly lost every bit of what they own in less than a couple hours that day in March.  Unfortunately, people and pets were lost in that disaster as well.  But in this story, we get to talk about something that was lost but now has been found.

It's a pretty hard pill to swallow.  Just try to imagine what you'd do if a natural disaster destroyed everything that you own and your only means of survival was to leave your pet to fend for themselves against the elements.  Do you think you could do it?  I don't think I could.

Unfortunately it has happened to many pets in Japan after the recent tsunami that has left the country in ruins.  But this is a story about a reunion between a dog and her owner.  The dog's name is "Ban" and she was found 1.2 miles off shore standing on the roof of her house.  She has been rescued and returned to her owner.

I wrote a post a couple weeks ago about unconditional love coming from pets.  If that reaction doesn't show how much that dog loves her owner, i don't know what does.
