Miss California Is Crowned Miss USA

She was born and raised in New Jersey, but represented California and she's the new Miss USA.  21-year old Alyssa Campanella, a redhead, took the crown last night at the Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas. 

She is a full-time model who actually represented New Jersey at the Miss Teen USA contest back in 2007.  Campanella will represent the United States at the Miss Universe pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil on September 12th.
