My daughter’s group The Plain Janes performing in East Amherst [GALLERY]

A few years ago, I began teaching my daughter Shelby how to play the guitar. She has been playing piano since age 8 so she is pretty musical. I wasn't sure how long she would stick with the guitar. When you have kids, their interests seem to change on a daily basis. But to my surprise, Shelby stuck with the guitar, practicing every day and getting continually better. She made her solo debut earlier this year at one of my band gigs. Since then she has formed a group with a few of her friends. They call themselves The Plain Janes. They recently made their debut at one of my gigs in East Amherst a few weeks back. My good friend John Witt was there to capture the moments with his camera.
