‘Nashville’ Wins in Ratings – Wendy Lynn’s Review [VIDEO]

The show ABC has claimed as the most anticipated of the season, “Nashville” premiered last night and I was front and center to see if it would live up to the hype.  I definitely think it has potential, I like that they started digging into the characters backgrounds without giving to much away in the first episode.  I’m a sucker for a good story and the more depth each character has will hook me. Connie Britton stars as seasoned female artist Rayna Jaymes who is struggling to be relevant in today’s music climate.   I’m curious to get the scoop about her torn relationship with her father.  See they’ve hooked me with the back story line.  Also Hayden Panettiere’s character Juliette Barnes, the young hot nemesis has got some baggage with her estranged mother.  Keep up the soapy ‘Dynasty’ type stuff without being totally cheesy and you’ll have me Nashville.   The drama delivered 9 million viewers and a 2.8 rating among adults 18-49. That’s enough to win the hour over CBS and NBC.  Only time will tell if the show can keep its audience.
