I've always thought this was a good idea.  When I worked nights, I wanted to start up a service like this.  Now it's here...an app that will allow you to get groceries delivered right to your front door!

It's called InstaCart and it's finally being launched in Buffalo.  The new app is available on both android and apple devices.

How great will it be to get fresh groceries delivered straight to your door and never have to leave your couch?  And they'll deliver from your favorite stores like Wegmans, CVS, Price Right, and Petco in as little as 2 hours.

I can't help but think of the possibilities...young parents who find it difficult to pack up the kids and head to the store for milk and diapers, sports fans who forgot their favorite dip - but don't want to miss the game, or even people who are at work and come across a cool new recipe that they want to try for dinner that night - the ingredients can be on your doorstep by the time you get home.

You don't even have to exchange money with your shoppers.  It's set up kind of like Uber or Skip The Dishes where you can pay through the app.  The groceries are then picked up and delivered in cooler bags to keep them fresh and cool.

While it sounds too good to be true, it's here.  It's not quite in all WNY zipcodes, it's in many from Hamburg to Lockport.
