Niagara Falls Turning Purple For Domestic Violence Awareness

Many people associate October with Breast Cancer Awareness.  However, did you know that October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month?  Tonight, Niagara Falls will be helping to create awareness by doing something rather unique to the national tourist site.

Niagara Falls is going to be illuminated in purple to kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month and to promote peace in the home.  If you would like to see one of the wonders of the world illuminated in purple, it will take place tonight at 7:30, 8:30, and 9:30pm.
