Patrick Stewart is probably best known for his role as Captain Jean Luc Picard from the Star Trek television show. However, after watching his mother be abused when he was a child, he has become an incredible advocate to help end domestic violence.

He was recently asked a very personal question at Comicpalooze about what, outside of acting, he has done that he is most proud of. His answer may be surprising to many, but it's one that I personally wish more men would answer.

I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Stewart and wish that more men felt the way that he did.  It's not to say that men are the only ones who are abusive. However, men certainly can do more to end it. There are a lot of ways to show your support. One such event is the Walk A Mile in Her Shoes walk. Another is the million man pledge. It's time to "man up" guys.  Domestic violence isn't necessarily going to end on its own. It's time we put an end to it.
