Phony Concert Scam On Craigslist

Police in Evans, New York are investigating a case of a phony concert scam on Craigslist.com. The scam artist attempted to sell vendor spots for a fake country music concert at Evangola State Park for upwards of $1000 per spot. Officials have confirmed that there is no such concert scheduled.

Evans Police are asking anyone who responded to this scam to contact Captain Danzi at: 716-354-9111 or email police at deectives@evanspoliceny.com
