Porchfest Is Coming Back And They Need Porches And Bands

It's an event that's as much about music as it is about community building.  It's Porchfest, and it's coming back to the Elmwood Village.

Picture this...you walk from house to house with a picnic lunch on an entire afternoon filled with local music being played on porches throughout the Elmwood Village.  It's all right there for you to take in.  All different genres of music, all different types of bands playing just to be heard.  It's not a distant dream.  It's Porchfest and it's coming back on May 11th from 1pm-6pm

However, the event cannot take place without the homeowners' help.  According to Buffalo Rising, the Elmwood Village Association is looking for people who live in the village to volunteer their porch.  If you are a lover and a supporter of music, this event is for you.  It's the ultimate way to help encourage and spotlight local music.  Click here if you'd like to volunteer your porch.
