If you've ever wanted to hear the words, "YOU'RE the next contestant on The Price Is Right!" your opportunity may be closer than you think.

The Price Is Right has been going on for what seems forever.  It's the longest-running game show ever.  It's hard to believe but Bob Barker wasn't the original host of the show.  It started out with a guy named Bill Cullen in 1956.  It was canceled for a few years but then came back in 1972.  Now, they're celebrating their 50th year on the air and they're getting ready to hit the road.

If you've ever wanted to be on the show but didn't want to take the trip all the way out to sunny California to be part of the studio audience, they're getting ready to bring the show to you.  And yes...they're coming to New York.

They're calling it the "Come On Down Tour" and they're going to be hitting some pretty big cities.  They're starting this Friday at Los Angeles’ Santa Monica Pier and then hitting up 50 cities (to celebrate the 50th anniversary).

Yes, Drew Carey will be part of the tour.  So will George Gray (the voice of The Price Is Right who says “Come On Down” every episode), and model Alexis Gaube.

They are encouraging people to follow @TheRealPriceIsRight on social media to find out where the tour will be.

We do know that they will make New York City one of their "special stops" in May.  But here in Buffalo, we would be closer to see them in Cleveland, Ohio on May 6th.

The tour will have "special stops" in these cities:

Los Angeles, California — Friday, March 25

Denver, Colorado — Friday, April 1

Dallas, Texas — Thursday, April 7

New Orleans, Louisiana — Friday, April 15

Nashville, Tennessee — Friday, April 22

St. Louis, Missouri — Thursday, April 28

Cleveland, Ohio — Friday, May 6

New York, New York — Wednesday, May 18

All guests must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
