The Buffalo Broadcast Hall Of Fame induction ceremony is coming September 20th at the WNED studios. This year's inductees include a broad spectrum of personalities including one of the most popular and famous names in Buffalo and Canada. Long time Sabres play-by-play announcer Rick Jeanneret is among the list of inductees. This is going to be a special night for me as well. I have the privilege and honor to be a Co-MC that evening. On Tuesday, The Buffalo Broadcasters held a short news conference to introduce the names of those that will inducted. When it was his turn to speak, Rick Jeanneret seemed extremely humble and honored to be included. He recalled how he was a big fan of Hall Of Famers like Danny Neavereth and always hoped to be "as good as those guys." He said he was a big fan of the rock and roll jocks of days gone by and always looked up to them. He also went on to tell us that he is very grateful to be thought of for the HOF, but he wants to "get his hands on the Cup" most of all!

Tickets are available if you would like to be on hand for the ceremony on September 20th. Contact the Buffalo Broadcasters for tickets and more information!
