The Pittsburgh Penguins prevailed in Friday night's game in Buffalo against the Sabres 5-3.  The Penguins cashed in a pair of power play goals to end the Sabres five-game winning streak and with it takes away the Sabres playoff advantage.  Although the Sabres remain tied with Washington for the final playoff spot, the Capitals own the tie breaker.  Both teams have four games left to play.

Jordan Leopold, Tyler Ennis and Thomas Vanek scored the Buffalo goals.  Sidney Crosby dominated the game with a goal and three assists for the Penguins.

The Sabres have a pair of games against the Toronto Maple Leafs up next.  They play in Toronto Saturday night then back home against the Leafs on Tuesday.  The Sabres finish up with a pair of games on the road; next Thursday in Philadelphia and on Saturday in Boston.
