The Sabres played a solid 40 minutes in Boston Thursday night.  The final 20 minutes cost them though.  The Sabres were holding on to a 1-0 lead late in the second period when a turnover off the stick of newly aquired Cody Hodgson went to a Bruin and a deflected shot tied the game.  Then in the third period the Bruins were the better team putting on heavy pressure on the Sabres until finally breaking thru for a pair of goals in a 3-1 win.

Jason Pominville scored the lone Buffalo goal, his second goal in consecutive games.  Jonas Enroth started in goal and took the loss, stopping 25 of 28 shots.

The loss keeps the Sabres two points out of the final playoff spot with 14 games left.  The Sabres are in Ottawa on Saturday night.
