I haven't followed basketball much lately.  When I was in school though, I was a hugh Chicago Bulls fan.  And my favorite player was....

Scottie Pippen.  For real.  While everyone else was screaming about Michael Jordan and how he was the greatest player ever, I went out of my way to collect #33 Chicago Bulls attire.  Yesterday, my favorite player made a controversial statement about the guy who won all those rings with him.

Yesterday on ESPN's Mike & Mike in the Morning Scottie Pippen said that while Michael Jordan may be the league's greatest scorer ever, he thinks LeBron James could quite possibly become the NBA's greatest player.

“Michael Jordan's probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game, but I may go as far as to say that LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game because he's so potent offensively,”  --Scottie Pippen

He went on to explain that not only is he a great scorer, but he's good passing the ball around, and causing havoc on defense.

What do you think?  Is it possible that there's a better player than His Airness, Michael Jordan?
