Seats For Eats

Join your friends and neighbors in the Southtowns for Seats for Eats this Tuesday night. April 24th at the Colden Fire Hall from 6 to 9 pm. It’s a charity event to benefit the Bread of Life Outreach Center.

20 unique artisan chairs painted by local artists for the event will be auctioned off, that’s why they call it Seats for Eats!  Among the other things that’ll be auctioned off will be dozens of bottles of wine, a wheelbarrow of liquor and even an autographed Thurman Thomas football.

Enjoy beer, wine and samples from local restaurants including the Colden Mill, Buffalo’s Best Grill, Old Orchard Inn, Colden Market and Café, Colden Country Inn, Chef’s, My Tomato Pie, 42 North Brewing Company, Johnson Estate Winery, Hamburg Brewing Company and Hoak’s.

I’ll be the MC for the event, plus a number of other local celebrities will be attending.

Tickets are $25.00 and available at the Bread of Life Outreach Center, 8745 Supervisor Avenue in Colden or at the Colden Market and Café, corner of State Road and Boston-Colden Road. Or order tickets by phone, 462-2930.

The Bread of Life Outreach Center is an all volunteer organization inspired by the Gospel message, “to feed the hungry and clothe the naked.” Among the services they offer:

• A Food Pantry affiliated with the Food Bank of WNY
• A Mobile Foot Pantry
• Social Services
• A Book Store
• Registered Little Library
• Farmer’s Market
• Community Building and Community Programs
• Educational Programs

Last year the Bread of Life Outreach Center:

• Served over 1200 households
• Served over 3100 individuals
• Provided 71 filled backpacks for school-age children
• Provided 84 Thanksgiving meals
• Provided 77 Christmas meals
• Provided 178 Christmas gifts
• Provided coats, boots, hats and mittens for families who needed them.

The Bread of Life Outreach Center is able to provide these services thru generous donations and events like Seats for Eats, so please join us this Tuesday night at Colden Fire Hall, 8448 Gutekunst Road in Colden. The event begins at 6 pm.
