Shaping His Body To Become Superman

He’s 36 years old and for the past 16 years he’s had 19 plastic surgeries to transform himself into his idol – Superman. Herbert Chavez of the Philippines has had nose jobs, lip liposuction, skin whitening, jaw realignment, pectoral implants and abdominal implants. Next he plans to have a procedure to make him taller by implanting metal rods in his legs. His favorite procedure so far was getting new abs.

He can often be seen in his neighborhood dressed in his Superman costume and says he wants to teach kids good morals and brighten their days. He says Superman has been his hero since he was five years old.

He also holds the Guinness World Record for largest collection of Superman memorabilia. He has 5,000 Superman related items, but he has plans to increase it to 10,000. And because he has so much Superman stuff he has to move to a new house.

What have all these surgeries cost him? He’s such a regular patient, his surgeries are free in exchange for publicizing his doctor's practice.
