There’s always some less-than-thrilling things that happen each week, whether it’s across the country, down to Music City in Nashville, or right here in our WNY backyards. Here’s this week’s rundown.

#Bluke is back!!

There were a whole lot of viewers who were crying along with Miranda Lambert when she won Female Vocalist of the Year and grooving to the beat of Lady Antebellum's performance of 'Downtown' during the 2013 ACM Awards. In fact, the 48th annual show had over 15 million viewers (15.38 million, to be exact), posting the largest audience since 1998.

The 2013 ACM Awards produced some predictable and unpredictable moments on Sunday night. Luke Bryan won Entertainer of the Year, which few would have bet on in Las Vegas if gambling on awards shows was something people did. I'm bored with country award shows. They seem to be less about awards now, and more about more obvious, "cooler" stars than what we have in country music.

Little Big Town took home the 2013 ACM Award for Vocal Group of the Year. It was a breakout past 12 months for the troupe, thanks to their smash hit 'Pontoon.' They've been doing their thing for so long and thanks to their monstrous, breakthrough year, this award was well-deserved and equally as hard-earned.

Stevie Wonder closed out the ACM Awards with his classic soul hit 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours,' turning the end of the 2013 red carpet show into a celebratory country party.
