Years ago Buffalo was a big basketball town. We even had our own NBA franchise called the Buffalo Braves. My uncle had season tickets for the Braves and he took me to quite a few games at Buffalo's Memorial Auditorium

If you remember the Buffalo Braves, then you remember the sadness in Buffalo when they left town. Ernie DiGregorio, Bob McAdoo and Randy Smith all lived in my neighborhood. We saw these people on the court and off the court.
