Stephen Colbert to Guest on ‘The Late Show with David Letterman’ April 22

Where last year we were watching David Letterman and Jay Leno still battling it out for late-night ratings, the future looks very different now that 'The Colbert Report' star Stephen Colbert has officially been announced as Letterman's replacement, to compete with the already-installed 'Tonight Show' with Jimmy Fallon. While plenty of questions remain, Colbert himself will drop by Letterman's 'Late Show' next week to shed a little light on the future.

Only a month after delivering his final essay on "60 Minutes" Andy Rooney passed away Friday night after major complications of what was described as minor surgery. What the surgery was for and what the complications were have not been revealed, but he'd been hospitalized for several weeks.

Ashton Kutcher To Replace Charlie Sheen

Sources for the Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that funnyman Ashton Kutcher will replace Charlie Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men' next season.

Though reps for CBS, studio Warner Bros. and Kutcher declined to comment, sources claim the deal is "all but signed." Kutcher also posted a coy tweet late Thursday night, asking, "What's the square root of 6.25?"
