June 7, 2012 I watched the two and half hour CMT Music Awards last night and pretty much enjoyed all of the performers. There were some stand outs including the opening which teamed Lady Antebellum with pop band Hot Chelle Rae who’s hit song ‘Tonight, Tonight’ mashed up well with Lady A’s ‘We Owned The Night’. It was a seamless fit and personally a big highlight of the show for me.
